There are three simple steps for preparing and transferring your billing information to CHMB for processing and payment:
Step 1 – Imaging/Capture
Simply transfer batches of patient charge slips, superbills, EOB's, correspondence or insurance cards, IDs, and forms to us by hardcopy or electronically. We import your data into CHMB's document imaging system where it is digitally scanned and electronically sourced, routed, accessed, and archived. The electronic files in CHMB's document imaging system translate to maximized efficiency for our internal interactions, for our work with clients, and for you; your users are notified and can securely view the information by accessing the client portal of CHMB's Web site whenever they want.
Step 2 – Bi-directional interfaces with Client's systems
We offer a HIPAA-compliant, bi-directional secured data connection to import and export critical, up-to-date information,
populating your EMR/EHR system (or other office productivity applications) with patient balance and enabling communication
and data sharing between systems.
Step 3 – Beginning the audit trail
Electronic files assure that nothing's lost, so reimbursements don't disappear into a "reimbursement crack" but are timely and
ready for accounting purposes. It's all about peace of mind.
