Your dedicated account representative and their supporting team is your first layer of protection. CHMB's account representatives have years of accounts receivable and revenue cycle optimization experience, are often certified coders, and are always a phone call away. Monthly client meetings assure your team proactively addresses any issues in a timely way. Your CHMB team will train your staff in data batching, gathering, conversion, and transfer – assuring that you have custom reporting tools and access to financial and clinical information 24x7 via CHMB's Web portal. The account representative oversees pre-billing audits, coding analysis, and rules-based logic to insure clean claims; the team provides all payment posting, handling of correspondence, appeals, patient account inquiries and follow-up. Each team includes certified coders credentialed by the American Academy of Professional Coders, which requires continuing education units and represents the standard for certified procedural coders nationwide. The coder, working closely with the account representative, manages data entry, quality assurance, and posting all medical services and corresponding transactions, including appeals and collections from insurance and private responsible parties. Coders are also responsible for compliance and reimbursement, and provide regular interpretation of payor, MSO, and IPA contracts.
